| · | The main reminder page with alarm |
| · | A list of names and contact information for four golfers |
| · | A To-do list for the tournament |

| 1. | Open Tablet Calendar by going to Start > Programs > Tablet Calendar. |
The calendar appears with the current month showing and the current day selected.

2. Use the scroll bar to scroll down to the last week of the following month.
In this case, the end of September. As you scroll down the selected date changes.

3. Click on the Saturday.
In the example below September 25 is selected.

|

4. Next, double-click on the selected date to open the Editor window.

5. Enter the time of the tournament, location, and draw a picture.
This is the display page. It contains the time and key words to classify the event. The keywords are important incase you want to search for them at a later date (i.e., you may want to put the results on a 4th page after the tournament is over, so that a year later when you are ready to do another tournament, this information will be handy!) .

|

6. Next, click on the New Page Tool.
This will insert a new page after the last page and enable the Back button on the toolbar and the scroll bar at the bottom. You can use these to flip between pages. At the top-right of the Editor the page information is also displayed. Information added to the previous page is automatically saved.

7. Add some contact names with their phone numbers.
In the example below, four names were added along with their telephone numbers. Each of these golfers was called up in order to check their schedule. Notes were added to help in the planning of the tournament. We also turned on the ruler to make it easier to add text.

In reality, you may first enter each player's name then later enter their phone numbers and then even later, call them up to add notes. With Tablet Calendar you can add or remove information anytime you want!

|

8. Click on the New Page Tool.
An empty third page appears (the last page is automatically saved).
On this page some information about the course is added. In this tutorial the third page is used as an information page that can be printed out or copied to the clipboard and later E-Mailed to the other players in the tournament.

If a printer is attached, simply click on the Printer Tool to make a paper copy.
If you want to send the information by E-Mail, first select all the Ink (using the Select All Tool) and copy it to the clipboard. You can then paste it into your E-Mail application (i.e., Outlook) or MS Paint to save it as a picture, which can then be attached to an E-Mail.

|

9. Close the Editor window.
This will bring you back to the Calendar. The selected date is the last page you worked on.

|

10. Click on the left side of the Page Scroll Toll twice.
When more than one page exists for a given day, the Page Scroll Tool appears at the bottom of the day and allows you to rapidly move between pages. As you move between pages, the thumbnail changes and the page information is updated. In the example below, the first page is displayed on the calendar.

|

11. That's all there is.
To finalize the Golf Tournament, you will add a reminder.
This is covered in the Adding a Reminder tutorial.
